Thick layer of Ruby Red that has been heated with an iron and then punched with a heart punch. (this needs to be a thick layer or the punch will not work--- we learned this the hard way)
Giraffe:
Lite brite is bunched together and placed onto cardstock that has double sided tape stuck to it. No heated involved.
Panda:
Ruby red and black mixed together in a small amount and ironed. Attached to card with double sided tape. I tried to use vellum tape but didn't have any luck.
