Asian - Red Envies, Joss Paper, Hell Notes, Playing cards
In Asian cultures, monetary gifts are usually presented in red envelopes during festive occasions, like weddings, birthdays and in the New Year.  While their main task is to bear gifts, their second duty is to shower the recipient with luck, joy, and prosperity.  Often embellished with gold designs, bright colors and the words "luck" or "forturne," the envelopes' details are believed to bring auspices to any occasion.

Joss Paper is typically associated with burials and funerals.  It is burned to wish the deceased well into the next life.  Upon doing a search on the subject, I have found that Joss paper is used for funerals, as well as used to burn for cleansing and bringing spiritual well-being to a room/house.
